We all would like to find someone with more expertise to help us with our debt problem in our time of need. Unfortunately a small industry of fly-by-night credit card debt relief opportunists now exists not to meet, but to take advantage of that need.

Freedom is a piece of shit company they’re thieves. They take your money and don’t pay the credit card companies and your interest rate goes higher.

It’s worth looking into. While settling can hurt your score, there are other options such as credit counseling and a DMP- debt management program that may not affect your score.

Never pay a third party to settle your debts. If you are going to settle – work directly with your creditors. Settling kills your credit and you are required to pay taxes to the IRS on the amount forgiven. Settling reflects about as poorly as a bankruptcy and the charge 20-40% of your debt in up front fees.

It’s nice to see a company that really helps people who have been financially entrapped by the credit card companies.

Congratulations to both Jessica and Freedom Debt Relief!
